HR awareness in the channel

A great experience for me was meeting a prospective client who is basically a trader of specialty paper products.

The office was in the crowded Okhla Industrial area of Delhi, and the bustling entrepreneurship of the area is great to experience.

The firm is called an "agency" and has grown tremendously over the last 7-8 years. The leader of the place however admitted that in the channel distribution business they had a sellers market and did not do any major value addition. However, he said, the market will change in 2-3 years and he needs HR consulting to get his people ready for that change.

It is a small enterprise with about 30 people but the awareness and vision of the proprietor was heartening for me to note.
