We have just started with our marketing and should not take much time for people to stand up and notice us.

Yes the site does not have a great number of resumes or jobs posted but we do not believe in having resumes, our goal is to become the number one "Job Portal" and not the site which has the highest number of resumes.
Job seeker can apply for ANY job on CareerBuilder.com with out registering with us. If they can win an iPod while doing this then why not, but again there is compulsion to post ones CV with us or even to register.

We are already speaking to some of the biggest brands in India for their jobs to be posted with us and would be successful in the near future. The "head waiter" posting should be a bug and will be rectified in some time now thanks a ton for letting us know about such a mistake, I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I also thank you for acknowledging the content on the site, we will soon have the India specific site up and the US content will be taken off.

Answering the question on how the jobsite market going to evolve, I would again like to say we a "Job Site" people come to us for Jobs, we are not interested to become the number one site with the highest number of resumes, if you look closely we have 3 types of searches when a recruiter wants to search for profiles. 1. Quick Search - this more US centric, 2. Advance Search - This has 22 different search parameters to help the recruiter and after the search results are shown we have a "Zoom In" feature which helps the recruiter to further refine his/her search, ALL RESUMES SHOWN ARE LESS THEN A YEAR OLD, no resume which has not been modified for more than a year is reflected at all and 3. Archive search - the obvious question now will be what happens to the CV's which are more than a year old, well we do not delete them but archive them and you get to see those CV's in this section.
A job seeker can register with us only for Job Alerts or Job Recommendations as we call it, again WITH OUT posting his/ her CV with us anywhere. One can also apply to a job WITH OUT registering or posting a CV, we also have a host of other ways by which confidentiality is maintained. I guess that clears the air on the confidentiality of people who visit us.

Now to talk about branding tools with CareerBuilder, I am glad to inform you guys that we are one of the best in the market when I say that I don’t even want to tell you guys about the normal "home page logs" and the "micro sites", we have products which are not offered by any of our competition in the market and are much more technically strong.

Well I can go on and on and on about CareerBuilder.com there are lots more to say but yes we are yet to make a mark in the market and request your kind help and support in doing so.
Please write to me at vijay.babu@ionidea.com for more details.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09688512176810516935noreply@blogger.com
