This is a new initiative from the LinkedIn Bloggers forum.
We're going to highlight a different blog on a regular basis to help bring awareness to the topic.
Check out Email Overloaded.
It offers good tips on how to manage your inbox every day. I know lots of people (yours truly included!) who could be better off managing their time and therefore their business if they knew the tips!

Gautam, far and away the most effective method I have found for controlling email is having good spam filters. I use Yahoo as a web based email system, and I have (with a different address) a Eudora client on my main PC where I manage email.
ReplyDeleteThe effectiveness of the spam filters on Yahoo and on my Eudora client software is extraordinary and has meant that I have been able to manually keep up (via sorting filing and deleting) with "real" mail. Since my "real mail" count numbers in the hundreds daily, this dual approach has worked out quite well for me.
