Without even asking, a reader of this blog, Prem Saran P, decided to gift me a logo he made for it. His gift really blew me away.
Wow!
Thanks Prem!
So what do you think, should I remove my "eyes" header image and replace it with this logo that Prem made so well?

Yes. The new logo looks good
ReplyDeleteDO IT NOW! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Eyes images makes it difficult for the text description to be read. I vote for the new logo.
ReplyDeleteNew logo is very nice!
ReplyDeleteYes... the new logo looks really nice!
ReplyDeletenew logo looks slick
ReplyDeleteLooks neat, you can reduce the image size as its making the site little slow.
ReplyDeleteGautam -
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new header. I like it. A colleague from work, who used to do freelance web design, offered the same gift to me.
Isn't it nice that kind people are still out there!? Well done!
ReplyDeleteNice gesture.
ReplyDeleteNo offense, however, but that logo is somewhat painful on the eyes from a design perspective. Three different fonts, mixing sans-serif/serif/italics, confusing gradients, repetitions, transparency effects. Research has shown that simple and clear logos have maximum recognition accuracy.
I suggest playing around with an online logo creator like Logoyes. Unleash the childhood creativity.
Here's an example to give you an idea what I mean. (Made in 30 seconds. The background alignment grid is showing, as I didn't pay the fee to complete the logo creation process).
Nice blog, by the way. Keep it up, interesting stuff.
Well Gautam, if you like a bit of criticism...
ReplyDeleteI'd say you now know for what "Kind" of posts on your blog you get max no. of comments!! :)
Hi Sameer I didn't understand the critcism. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteN thanks for your pointer to the logoyes site. Awesome tool!
I mean you seriously don't get so many comments for a HR related topic....as many as you've got for a non-HR post like this one!
