Linkedin adds pin code search to India regions

In case you have a profile on linkedin and have entered your pin code in your profile, your profile now shows which city area you live in.

    Hi

    The feature is a dream come true for headhunters like me- wanting to finetune the search to a specific area.

    But there seem to be some glitches right now. I notice my pincode is relegated from the A1 city status (Hyderabad) to a sleepy unimpressive district called "Mahabubnagar area" :-)!

    And earlier today I was delighted to reach a HOT prospect in Satara district-and rescue him out to a more glamorous city-to realise he was already located in Mumbai!!

    Technology has a time lag too!!?

    I have a profile on Linkedin and wanted to show current location as Hyderabad but if I give the pincode it says Mehbub Nagar, can you suggest me what should be the PIN CODE so that it automatically detects as Hyderabad. If possible please drop in a mail.

    Gachibowli in Hyderabad (PIN 500032) shows the area as Raichur in LinkedIN

    On Linkedin profile type pincode 500010 you will get Hyderabad area as your location.
