This is verrry interesting.
Jobster has started a Jobster recruiter community and one can get certified as a Jobster Certified Recruiter !
It's unusual because it's a firm's way to position itself as a 'standard' in the recruiting industry.
Will it work?
I'm not too sure.
The cons are much more. A certification by SHRM or a industry collective makes more sense for a person to opt for it.
However, I can see one Pro for the initiative. It's like a frequent user reward. The more one uses the product (and attends some training) one is on the way to getting certified.
Would be interesting to get some feedback from someone who's actually doing it.
Very smart of Jobster !
